1998 Misty Mountain Hop winner, and 1997 East Coasters Virginia State Champion, Trek's Chris Eatough (posing with the 97 trophy and Dirt Rag leader's jersey). Chris wound up winning FOUR AMBC's (NORBA American Mountain Bike Challenge series) in 1998! For that, we nominate him for AMBC national champion (or AMBC King, perhaps?).

After that, he reeled in FOUR world 24-hour solo titles! We always thought he'd be pretty good at this stuff.
